Cookie policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works in a similar way. This page lists everything the store keeps on your device.
1. Running the site
| Name | Type | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pr-lang | localStorage | Remember the language you chose | Until you delete it |
| pr-attribution | sessionStorage | Remember the campaign (UTM) that brought you, sent with a waitlist sign-up | Until you close the tab |
| pr_session | Cookie (HttpOnly) | Keep you signed in to the buyer area after you sign in with a code | 30 days |
| pr_manual | Cookie (HttpOnly) | Access to the assembly manual, for people with the password | 30 days |
| manual-pato-v1 | localStorage | Save your progress in the assembly manual | Until you delete it |
2. Statistics (PostHog)
We use PostHog (EU cloud, through our site’s /ingest address) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks and where visits come from. When you open the site, PostHog stores:
| Name | Type | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_<project key>_posthog | Cookie and localStorage | Random identifier for your browser and session, to link visits together | 365 days |
| Other ph_… / __ph… entries | localStorage and sessionStorage | PostHog internals: event queue, session, recording | Until the session ends or you delete them |
PostHog may also record the session (session replay): what appears on screen, movements and clicks, so we can see where people get stuck. Text you type into form fields is masked.
What we do with this data is in the privacy policy.
3. Other sites
- YouTube: if the page has videos, they load only when you press play. From then on the YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com, by Google) may store data in your browser under Google’s policy.
- Vercel Speed Insights measures page performance without cookies.
4. Blocking or deleting them
You can block or delete this site’s cookies and data in your browser settings, or use a content blocker. The site keeps working without statistics. If you want us to stop using data from your visits, write to info@ubrobotics.com.
